We're (mostly) always looking for excellent quality baby and kids clothing from newborn to 7/8 years of age. We accept all brands, but have very strict quality standards of which the guidelines are as follows:
Accept
- All sizes of clothes up to 8 years of age, clean and washed.
- All brands. Clothing from Dunnes, Primark and H&M must be in excellent (near new) condition or new with tags.
- Fully functional (i.e. working zips, buttons, etc.)
Can Not Accept
- Items with stains, marks, excessive wash fade, rips, pulls, holes, pilling, missing buttons or labels, obvious discolouration, marker/pen marks, cracked print or threadbare.
- Sleepsuits - Bodysuits unless part of a set - Footwear, socks, tights, underwear, bibs, hats. (unless part of an outfit)
- Items from smokers homes.
- Handmade clothes.
- Holiday souvenirs
- Baby equipment/accessories.
- Blankets
What To Do Next
Inspect your items in daylight to ensure they adhere to the above quality standards, taking care to check the neckline and cuffs where applicable. Once washed, bag or box the clothing up.
We ask there be a minimum of 25 items. Please note that a set with two items, eg. a dress and vest outfit or a t-shirt and jeans outfit – are classed as one item.

1) The age categories of your items and gender eg. boys age 2 to 4 years
2) Your location.
How Does Pricing Work?
We offer a kilo price for all clothing divided into two pricing brackets.
Categories
STANDARD - €4 per kg. This category is for used but in good/excellent condition items from brands like Dunnes, Primark, F&F, Gap etc.
PREMIUM - €6 per kg - This category is for items that are new with tag and for designer brands like Junior J, Burberry, Ralph Lauren, etc.
Once we have checked and selected the items, we will contact you with an offer. If you find the offer acceptable, we will arrange a bank/PayPal/Revolut transfer.
Please note: If the offer is not accepted, it is your responsibility to collect your clothing from us. If you do not wish to collect, we donate the items to Human Appeal or equivalent or you can nominate a charity of your choice.
Custom Offer
We will make a custom offer based on brand and condition. This includes:
- Designer brands
- Coats in excellent condition
Once we have checked and selected the items, we will contact you with an offer. If you find the offer acceptable, we will arrange a bank/PayPal/Revolut transfer.
Please note: If the offer is not accepted, it is your responsibility to collect your clothing from us. If you do not wish to collect, we donate the items to Human Appeal or equivalent or you can nominate a charity of your choice.
How Do I Get My Clothes to You?
We collect from the Newbridge/Naas/Kildare/Athy area. We ask that there be at least 25 items to make it worth our while.
If you are outside of this catchment area, please get in touch as we have a postage option for bundles up to 10kg.
Please note: If we receive clothes that do not meet the quality standards or guidelines, the return postage or collection is the responsibility of the sender. Alternatively, you can opt for us to donate the items to charity.
Donations
FlopsyShop.ie accepts donations that adhere to the above quality guidelines. For each kilo donated, FlopsyShop.ie pledges to donate 2 euro to the charity Human Appeal at the end of the year.
